You know the classic song, and we're all familiar with the cliché yuletide tropes - so we thought it would be fun to break said tropes, in the middle of them troping, with people accidentally breaking their phones for Verizon's holiday spot.

And it's worth mentioning this ended up being one of their most successful commercials in years. Over the last quarter of the year, Verizon gained nearly one million subscribers across wireless and broadband. Over the last quarter of the year, Verizon gained nearly one million subscribers across wireless and broadband with 568,000 net wireless subscribers and 408,000 net broadband subscribers. Verizon had its strongest wireless customer growth in five years this quarter.
